The CCC Norwalk Center is a non-residential facility where Corpsmembers commute to work daily. Schedules vary but crews typically work four 10-hour days Monday through Thursday. Energy crews may also work evening shifts.

The center is located in on the grounds of Metro State Hospital in Norwalk, just east of Interstate 5 in Los Angeles County. Corpsmembers complete projects throughout Los Angeles County and Southern California. Crews may also be dispatched across California, or out-of-state, on emergency assignments.

The Norwalk Center offers training opportunities in energy and other natural resources work. The center regularly partners with local school districts, courts, and State Parks on projects.
